Field Scale Propagation Department

Hargreaves Plants' aim is to be at the forefront of plant supply in the UK and Europe, meeting current and future needs of the ever evolving commercial horticulture industry.

Much of the production is centred around the Field Scale Propagation Department within Hargreaves Plants.  This department is responsible for the propagation of bare root strawberry plants and raspberry canes as well as asparagus crowns.

The majority of plants are grown on deep sand land in West Norfolk, UK.  All fields are carefully selected with irrigation facilities paramount to reduce any weather related stresses during the summer/autumn.

The Norfolk based field sites focus on making the best use of the deep fertile sand land to produce high quality plants.  A wide range of varieties are avavilable.
