Use and Growing Advice

- Darselect can be planted either as fresh plant during autumn or as a cold store plant during May/June
- Avoid large quantities of nitrate fertilisers as this can make the plant very vegetative
- Treat early in the season against mildew on foliage. Similar susceptibility to Mildew as Elsanta
- While the fruit is growing, the addition of magnesium oxide will help improve the glossiness of fruit
- Harvest when the fruit is ripe, that is when the skin is brick red. Harvest staggered every 4-5 days on average
