AspireUK available to benefit UK Asparagus Growers

The AspireUK decision support system for asparagus is now available on the internet for use by the UK asparagus industry at www.aspireuk.org.  This is the culmination of a two and a half year HDC-sponsored research project (FV 271). It provides a tool that asparagus growers can use to help improve crop performance based on better knowledge and understanding of the role of root carbohydrate (CHO) in the yield physiology of asparagus.

The system is being commercialised in the UK by Hargreaves Plants Ltd.  Please note, completed registration forms (see AspireUK registration section on the homepage of the AspireUK website) and cheques, made payable to 'Hargreaves Plants Ltd' are to be returned to:
